A dental bridge is a fixed prosthetic device that replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth to the adjacent natural teeth or dental implants, restoring both function and appearance.
At BK Dental, we create custom dental bridges that seamlessly fill the gap left by missing teeth. Our bridges restore your ability to chew, speak, and smile with confidence.
Book a ConsultationA dental bridge literally bridges the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It consists of one or more artificial teeth (pontics) held in place by dental crowns attached to the teeth on either side of the gap (abutment teeth). Bridges can also be supported by dental implants. This fixed restoration stays permanently in place and functions like natural teeth.

We assess the gap, examine abutment teeth health, and plan the bridge design using digital imaging.
The teeth on either side of the gap are shaped to receive crowns that will anchor the bridge.
Detailed impressions are taken for custom bridge fabrication. A temporary bridge protects your teeth.
The custom bridge is fitted, adjusted for proper bite and aesthetics, and permanently cemented.
After bridge placement, you may experience some sensitivity that resolves within a few weeks. Eating soft foods initially helps you adjust to the new restoration. Once comfortable, you can eat normally. Special floss threaders or interdental brushes help clean under the bridge pontic.
Dental bridge costs in Toronto depend on the number of teeth being replaced, the materials used, and the complexity of the case. A three-unit bridge (replacing one tooth) differs in cost from longer-span bridges. Most dental insurance plans provide partial coverage. We offer detailed treatment estimates and payment options. Implant-supported bridges may be recommended for certain situations. CDCP coverage may apply for eligible patients.

BK Dental offers expert dental bridge services at both our Scarborough and Richmond Hill locations. Our team helps you choose the best tooth replacement option—whether a traditional bridge or implant-supported solution—to restore your smile throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
