BK Dental (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal health information of our patients and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), and applicable Canadian privacy laws.

4. Website Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service that measures aggregate page views and visitor counts without setting tracking cookies, fingerprinting devices, or storing personal identifiers. We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing pixels on this site.
5. CASL & Electronic Communications
In compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we will only send commercial electronic messages to you with your express or implied consent and will provide a clear unsubscribe option in each message.
6. Safeguards
We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted storage, restricted access, secure disposal, and ongoing staff training.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to your personal health record, request corrections, withdraw consent (subject to legal limits), or file a complaint with our Privacy Officer or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Retention
Dental and health records are retained for the period required by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and applicable law (typically at least 10 years from last entry, or 10 years after the patient reaches age of majority).
